NOTE CREATION

  • Press the 'Add' icon on top right corner.
  • Type the title (can be left blank) and note text (can be left blank) (if both title and note text are blank note is note saved).
  • That’s it press back.

NOTE EDITING

  • Press the note you want to edit.
  • Note view screen will open and press the edit icon top right corner.
  • Type the title (if there is no title it will be left blank) and note text.
  • That’s it press back.

NOTE DELETION

  • Go to note view screen and press the bottom left 'Delete' icon.

ADD TAGS

  • Go to note view and press bottom right 'Tag' icon.
  • Check the tag you want to apply to the note (you can also press 'Add' icon on the top right corner if you want to create a new tag. Refer Tag Editing).
  • That’s it press back.

SEND NOTE

  • Go to note view and press 'Envelop' icon on the bottom toolbar. Using this Note can be sent to any compatible installed app (GMail, Email, SMS etc)

REMINDER

  • Go to note view and press the 'Clock' icon on the bottom toolbar.
  • Select the time and press 'Clock' icon on the bottom toolbar.

SHORTCUT

  • Go to note view and press the 'Pin' icon on the bottom toolbar.

EXPORT

  • Go to the multi selection mode.
  • Select notes you want to export.
  • Press the Up Arrows icon on the bottom toolbar.
  • Select the Export option from the 'Actions' dialog.
  • 'Export' dialog will open.
  • Press the button showing the path.
  • This will open the file browser (How to browse ref Browsing).
  • Here you can select a directory (to which you want to export) and press OK.
  • If 'Export to single file' option is selected then all the selected notes will be exported to one single file. But if 'Export to single file' is not selected then all selected notes will be exported to different files with note title as the file name(plus an ID). You can also choose to set the windows compatibility option(by default 'on'). Setting this option will make editting of exported files easier on windows system.
  • When notes are exported some meta data is also exported in the file which is used during import.

IMPORT

  • You can normal import text files or Note Me exported text files (containing meta data)
  • On the main screen, press the Down Arrows icon.
  • Press the button showing the path.
  • This will open the file browser (How to browse ref Browsing).
  • Here you can select a file(could be plain text file/note files created by export/single file created by export) or a directory(all the compatible files in the directory will be automatically imported)
  • If 'Move original files' is set all the files imported will be moved to a new directory (created in the same directory as the file(s) is).
  • Press 'Import'. 'Import Summary' screen will be shown.
  • This screen will show you the statistics prior to actual import (you can still cancel import at this time).
  • The screen will tell how many new notes will be created, how many old notes will be over written, which tags are going to be created and where the files are moved (if 'Move original files' is set). Just review the info and if everythings looks ok press 'Import'.
  • Notes imported.
